Police say it was hiding in a vodka bottle discarded by a Mr B. Johnson after a long and circuitous stagger from Central London and the variant is now being questioned at Barnet police station. It is understood the variant entered the country in a diplomatic bag at the request of Mr Johnson who is running out of excuses to prolong lockdown
